Mandatory documents for race ranking

GFNY France is a sanctioned competition under the French Cycling Federation, FFC. Under FFC regulations, only athletes who provide an approved license or a medical certificate are allowed to be ranked in FFC sanctioned races.

By providing the required document (license or medical certificate), you are able to be classified in the competitive long route. Without supporting documents, you can ride the long course with timing but without ranking. The medium course is non-competitive and does not require the documents.

The services provided to you as the event participant, your race packet and goodie bag, timing and safety are identical for both the long and medium routes. Start times are the same for both courses.

How to submit your document to GFNY

Your license or medical certificate must be uploaded to your gfny.cc account when you complete your check-in for the race. There is no need to send the document by email or mail and you do not need to bring it to the race.

The GFNY.cc check-in process

You'll receive an email one month before the event advising you that check-in is open. You can log into your gfny.cc account or follow the link from that email to take you to the check-in form.

Check-in is mandatory in order to pick up your race packet. Complete the process early, you can make edits to your check-in selections if something changes before race day.The check-in process includes important pre-race questions:
  • Confirm that you are coming (or not, if your plans have changed).
  • Upload your document (license or medical certificate).
  • Select your packet pickup day and time.
  • Your tourism information.
  • Specify whether or not you will join us for the post-race meal.
  • Order additional meals for your supporters.

After you completed your check-in, you will get a confirmation screen. We then review the documents and upload race numbers. Once your check-in documents have been verified and race numbers have been assigned, you will receive your GFNY Race Pass, which will be in your gfny.ccaccount and you will receive it also by email.
