From Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport, take the A43 to the A48 highway and head towards the Southern Alps. The drive to Grenoble is approximately one hour. Exit the highway in Genoble.

From Grenoble to Vaujany (50 km / 50 minutes) take RN 1091, direction Briançon. At the crossroads of Rochetaillée, follow the valley of Eau d'Olle on the Departmental Road 526 (direction Allemont / Vaujany).

Directly at the airport (under Terminal 2), there is the high speed train (TGV) station (buy your train ticket on level 2 at the yellow machines, the departure platforms are on level 1). Take the TGV to Lyon (2.5hrs, 11 departures per day), and then change to the train to Grenoble (1.5hrs, departures every 30 minutes).

Lyon
Lyon is the closest international airport. For a traveler from outside Europe, if you are open to doing a connecting flight and prefer to fly to Lyon, your options are:

Lyon
Lyon is the closest international airport. There are buses and trains from Lyon airport directly to Grenoble train / bus station.

Taking the train is the best option for you and your bike, although it could be a little more expensive than the bus.

Buses
Buses depart every 30 minutes (5:30-23:30), with a travel time of 1h30. However, buses may incur some delays in case of any traffic.

Ouibus does not allow bikes. It does allow packed bikes in a case, but maximum dimension of 40x30x15cm, and weight no more than 20kg.

Flixbus allows bikes. "Most of our buses allow you to bring your standard size bike without accessories (max weight of 20 kg) on board and you can add it to your journey during the booking process at an extra charge per item. You can select the number of bicycles you want to bring when booking when you enter the number of passengers.

The transport is carried out on bike racks. In some cases, transport is only possible in suitable bags in the baggage compartment. In this case, you must call customer service in advance to register the bike (see special baggage rules). E-bikes, pedelecs, tandems and tricycles cannot be carried on a bike rack." The price of a bicycle transport is 9 euros extra per way on Flixbus.
